soupy delights

One of the things I miss the most about New York City is the food. No matter where you go there is always something new to try. Whether it's eating something as simple as chicken & rice from a Halal cart on the corner of the street or dining in one the many nice restaurants that New York City has to offer.

I'm a sucker for Asian food though, and I enjoyed eating at Joe's Shanghai in Chinatown and trying out their famous soup dumplings. There is nothing like that here in Orlando and I've been longing for the taste of the warm soup when you bite into the dumplings. If you do decide to take on the experience, then I must advise that the soup is hot.

i got mail?

It's so nice to receive mail from a friend every so often. It just feels more personal, you know? But I guess in this case mailing was the only way to deliver my present from someone special that is far away.

wonderful weather

This is the kind of weather I've dreamed of having around this time of the year for some outdoor parties. Had I not been studying then you would probably find me in a secluded garden..

After a long weekend I look forward to waking up on Sundays with the idea of just relaxing all day. It seems like everything around me has calmed down to make living more enjoyable.
